About four years after the conception of Alpha Psi Omega, Delta Psi Omega was created in 1929. In 1936, at the next Grand Rehearsal of ΑΨΩ, Delta Psi Omega was declared the official junior-college division National Theatre Honors Fraternity. Delta Psi Omega is founded at two-year institutions such as junior and community colleges and there are over 350 nationwide. Delta Psi Omega is governed by the same National Officers and therefore uses the same theatre-related terminology. However, they have a separate coat of arms, induction process and ceremony.

At West Chester, the Rho Mu Cast has adopted ΔΨΩ members into a cast of transfers, and upon their transfer to West Chester they became members of our Alpha Psi Omega Cast.
